Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
This Mark Twain quote has defined my life and my work ambitions since I first heard it at school.
I’m Sky — a Biology & Environmental Science graduate who turned a fascination with the natural world, people and places into a life spent documenting them. I’ve travelled through 40+ countries, sailed from Spain to Brazil, and spent the past three years repeatedly self-driving across Namibia, South Africa, Uganda and Botswana, photographing and filming wildlife, people, landscapes and life on the road — including work alongside leading wildlife veterinary and rescue teams and Gondwana Collection.
I’m also a highly observational, field-experienced documentarian, British Government-trained and deployed, and an international commercial photographer who has worked with Fortune 500 companies and brands, as well as human and wildlife medical and rescue missions. My work for four governments has taken me across government departments, campaign trails, consulates and embassies.
My documentary work has also taken me deep inside human medicine: photographing pro bono cancer surgical missions in Honduras, and working as the first documentarian inside the development of Los Angeles’ first COVID-19 surge facility, documenting its transformation and the medical teams working on the front line. I work across photography, filmmaking and in-the-field presenting — from international commercial assignments and expeditions to human and wildlife medical missions — and my photography has been published by Rolling Stone.
You can see some of my wildlife, fine art, medical and commercial work below and in the menu.

Over the past three years, Sky has repeatedly self-driven more than 20,000 miles across Namibia, Botswana, Uganda and South Africa, photographing and filming wildlife, landscapes, people and life on the road.
His African work includes photographing and filming around 20 safari lodges, their guests, staff, guides and surrounding environments, alongside assignments and fieldwork with wildlife veterinary and rescue teams.
Beyond Africa, Sky has travelled extensively across the American West, photographing wild mustangs and extraordinary desert landscapes, and into Brazil’s Pantanal in search of and photographing wild jaguars.
From horses running through snow and desert mustangs to jaguars, elephants, giraffes and the vast landscapes they inhabit, the work is driven by one thing: being there, in the field, experiencing the story rather than observing it from a distance.
